It is more important now than ever before to teach our children about being thankful for our family and the love we give and receive. As the modern era has meant a boom in digital screens in the house, now is a good time to pull children away from devices and teach them about this holiday while also giving them memories they will treasure forever.
Though we admit that sometimes it is difficult to “turn off” and put our phones down, focusing on family, conversing with one another, and enjoying the time you spend together, will serve to create long-lasting memories that you and your children will cherish forever.
I personally try to remind my children how lucky and fortunate they are and to say thank you for all of their blessings. I encourage my children to be thankful for their friendships and tell their friends how much they appreciate them. A simple, “thank you for being such a good friend” goes a long way to make someone else feel loved and appreciated.
Let’s take this opportunity to show our friends and family how appreciative we are of them and say, “thank you.”
With that in mind, we want to say thank you to you– our My-Tee Girls around the world. We wish you a very blessed holiday season!
