The My-Tee Girls story began on an ordinary day when Regen Shanzer, full-fledged lawyer and full-time mom, was watching her 5-year old daughter build a garage out of blocks for her little brother all while wearing her princess dress. That was when it hit her: no age is too young to inspire girls to live colorful lives and dream without hesitation. Regen asked herself: “Why not make a clothing line that teaches girls about strong women, so they can eventually become one?”
The answer was My-Tee Girls, a brand that sows the seeds of strength, creativity, and independence in little girls through something as seemingly simple as choosing what shirt or leggings to wear for the day. It encourages kids to use their imagination and explore their identities as future strong women, in large part made possible by the strong women that came before them in the fields of STEM and beyond.
